PETONE MAN EXPLAINS TELEGRAM WHICH HE SENT TO OTTO

WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA).— A Pctone resident and a former fel-low-patient of Cecil Robert Gurr Otto, the murderer who escaped from Burwood Hospital, has given an explanation to the police about a telegram he sent Otto. The telegram stated: “Count me in.’’ The ex-patient said Otto was organising a collection for a presentation to a nurse leaving the hospital. His telegram advised Otto of his willingness to contribute to the collection.
