Nine-Year-Old Boy Who Climbed Power Pole Electrocuted
DUNEDIN, Last Night (PA'.—A nine-year-old boy, Clifford Stuait Duncan, was electrocuted when he climbed a power pole and received a shock from a transformer near his home in Waverley, a Dunedin suburb, tonight. He did so, but added: 'I would respectfully ask him to say that to me outside.' Mr Corbett, at the request of the Chairman of Committees, withdrew his original remark, and the incident closed. Mr Harker ruled that the motion nut bv Mr McCombs was out of order, but invited the member for Lvttelton Io challenge the vote of any individual member if he wished. Mr McCombs said that as he did not wish to discuss t.hn nnvate business of members he would not name any member.
