WANGANUI WILL BE VISITED TODAY BY BRITISH DELEGATION
A party of delegates to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in Christchurch and officials of the Internal Affairs Department will visit Wanganui today, and will remain in the city until Wednesday morning. They will be taken on a round of visits and sight-seeing tours. The party will include Mr. G. Macallister, Labour M.P. for Rutherglen, Mr. A. Hurd, Conservative M.P. for Newbury, Brigadier Sir G. S. Harvie Watt, K. 8., K.C., M.P. for Richmond, Surrey, Dr Omar Hayat Malik, Pakistan, the Hon. Sir Francis Molamure, K.B.E. Speaker of the House'of Representatives, Ceylon, Mr. R. St. L. P. Deraniyagala, M.8.E., clerk of the House of Representatives, Ceylon, Senator Dr. the Hon. L. A. Rajapakse, K.C., L.L.D., Minister of Justice and Leader of the Senate, Ceylon, and Dr. the Hon. C. E. Millieu, M.L.C., Mauritius. They will be accompanied, by the Hon. J. .T Paul, M.L.C., Mr. D. M. Rae, M.P. for Parnell, and Mr. J. H. Williamson, tour manager, Department of Internal Affairs. The party will stay at the Rutland Hotel.
