INVERCARGILL, Last Night (PA) —The Southland Racing Club held its spring meeting in good weather and before a good attendance on Saturday. The feature of the day was the performance of L. W. Hare, who rode four successive winners, including both legs of the double. The totalisator handled £41,372, including £4450 10s on the double, compared with £40,146 10s.
