WANGANUI HARRIERS ENTERED FOR BULLS-MARTON RACE

Nine Wanganui barriers have entered for the Marton Harrier Club's Bulls to Marton road race tomorrow afternoon. A further pair have entered for the colts’ two-mile race to be held in conjunction with the nine-mile senior and junior races. These colts, J. Stoneman and R. Moodie, are considered to have a good chance of leading the field home if they produce the form they have shown earlier this season. The Wanganui entrants for the senior race are: J. Quin, C. Guy, H. Hopper, R. Pearson, F. Just, A. Little, J. Greig, L. Rusden and L. Freeman. A party of club-members will accompany the harriers to Bulls. The harriers’ bus leaves the Post Office at midday.
