FIRST LORD EXPECTED TO COMPLETE DOUBLE AT AUCKLAND TROTS
Following on his brilliant, win in the September Handicap last Saturday at short odds, First Lord is likely to be a very warm favourite today for the Ferguson Handicap, principal event on the linal day ol the Auckland Trotting Club's spring meeting at Alexandra Park. It is only a small field, and ;even though he is back to 36 yards First. Lord should again finish in front of those he defeated on the opening day. Fortuna, who was a trifle unlucky last Saturday, may extend him.
