MAN KILLED AND FIVE PEOPLE INJURED WHEN CARS COLLIDE

AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).— One man was killed and five other people were injured, three seriously, when two motor-cars collided on the Main North highway near Henderson after 10 o’clock tonight. The man killed was Mr. Roy Macklow, of Muriwai. Those seriously injured wen> Harold Bryant, of Helensville, head injuries and fractured jaw, Mr. and Mrs. Wormaid, of Boll:’rd Avenue, Mount Albert, both head injuries. The others injured were Noel Stroudly Rimmer, of Helensville, and Douglas Guy, of Woodhill, both concussion. The accident occurred on a hill just north o" the IYA radio mast. The cars struck head on.
