CHANGES IN RUGBY TEAMS TO PLAY TARANAKI ANNOUNCED

Because of defections, and because M. O’Connell is to go as a reserve in the North Island Rugby team, there have been several changes in the Wanganui A and B teams to play Taranaki on Saturday. The personnel of the A team to play at New Plymouth is as follows: A TEAM Full-back: N. Wallace (M). Three-quarters: G. Pull (R), T. Goldsmith (R), A. Webby (TOB). Five-eighths: M. Hunter (WOB) and P. .Tones (WOB). Half-back: T. Takarangi (K). Back of scrum: H. Rowley (R). Sides: D. Beard (P) and B. Gibbs (R). Locks: D. McGregor (WOB) and T. Oldfield (R). i Front row: B. Jones (WOB), M Griffin (WOB) and V. Bell (P). Reserves: Forwards, D. Morrison (R), D. Goldsbury (TOB); backs, J. Davies (WOB) md R. Webby (TOB) The team will leave Martin and Vernon's at 7.30 a.m. tomorrow for New Plymouth. Mr. B. Hudson will be manager. B TEAM The B team to play Taranaki B on Spriggens Park is as follows: Full-back: D. McCarthy (T). Three-quarters: S. Sturmey (W), I. Cleland (K) and R. Kingi (T). Five-eighths: Les Head (P) and R.
