Freighter Ordered To American West Coast
WELLINGTON, Yesterday (PA). The Alcyone Shipping and Finance Company, owners of the freighter Alcyone Hope, now at Wellington, have advised the agents here that she is to proceed from Wellington to San Francisco where she is to await further orders. It is believed that, the ship is to load war supplies at United States west coast ports for shipment to Korea.
; The last time the Alcyone Hope carried arms was when, as the Gerl man freighter Rotenfels, she smuggled German war materials into Norway. The ver » ' is expected to leave Wellington early next week.
