BRUNSWICK W.I.

The August meeting of the Brunswick W.I. was presided over by Miss Ross, who welcomed members and friends. The motto, “Every flower we gather brings a breath of gladness,” was followed by a roll call of gardening hints, from which some useful information emerged. Miss Ross presented a comprehensive and interesting report on the Dominion conference. Mrs. HilesSmith gave a most instructive talk on bulb culture. The entertainment took the form of a community sing. Tne hostesses, Miss Mullins and Miss J. Smith served a much enjoyed supper. The best bloom was won by Mrs Littlejohn with Miss Ross second.
