The long head event was completed at the Parapara-Makirikiri sheep dog trials held yesterday. The results were: B. Lawrence (Mangamahu), Gift. 48* points, 1; D. A. Whiteman (Feilding), Laddie, 47*, 2; R. Davis (Raetihi), Tim, 46*. 3; L. I Roach (Lismore Station), Smoke, 46. 4.
The final of the Zig-zag Hunt away was: W. Ross (Mangaweka), Sweep, 43, 1; J. Goodwin (Ohingaiti), Glen, 42". 2; R. Davis (Raetihi), Joe. 42i, 3; T. G. Wilson (Hawera), Bruce, 42 L 4.
