The following members have had their handicaps reduced: Miss D. L. Belk, 13 to 10; Mrs. J. H. Marshall, 14 to 13; Mrs. G. M. Transom, 32 to 28. y Members of the committee are reminded of the committee meeting to be held on Thursday at the clubhouse at 12.15 p.m. ST. PATRICK’S OLD BOYS. The Taihape branch of the St. Patrick’s Old Boys' Association held its annual meeting in the Drill Hall on Saturday evening, Mr. P. J. Bird presiding over a fair attendance. The chairman reviewed the activities of the branch during the past year. The balance-sheet was adopted. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: President, Mr. Tim. McCarthy; treasurer, Mr. Ray O’Connor; secretary, Mr. B. McSweeney; executive committee, Messrs J. J. Quinn, A. Mickleson, P. Bird, A. C. O'Connor and R. Sinclair. Amongst the visitors were Rev. Father K. O'Connor, St. Bede's College, Christchurch; Rev. Father H. Geaney, St. Patrick's College, Silverstream; Mr. N. Ashenden (Wellington College), Mr. R. Kiely and Mr. P. O’Reilly (both of Sacred Heart College, Auckland). The annual reunion was held at the conclusion of the meeting, when a lengthy toast list was honoured. old rifle found. An old .303 riflfle, similar to those used in World War I, has been found under the old school house which is at present being demolished. It is not known how the rifle got there. It has been handed to the police. FOOTBALL DRAW. Because of the game with Wanganui on Saturday, there will be no senior matches in Taihape. The draw for Saturday is: Junior: Huia v. Utiku Old Boys, on No. 1 ground at 2.45 p.m.; Pirates v. Army, at Waiouru at 2.30 p.m.. Thirds: Pirates v. Utiku Old Boys, on No. 1 ground at 1.15 p.m.; High School a bye.
