The following resignations of teachers were received at yesterday’s meeting of the Wanganui Education Board:—

Leaving the board’s service: Messrs R. W. Hamlyn, headmaster al Hunterville Consolidated School; N. S. Lange, secondary assistant master ar Waverley District High; B. A. Trussell, assistant master at Gonville; D. C. Begg, assistant master at Wanganui East; and E. C. Marks, assistant master at Waverley District High. Transfers: Mr L. R. Johns to be assistant master at Wanganui East; Miss E. Ridge, assistant mistress at Wanganui East, and Miss M. Methven, assistant mistress at the Wanganui Intermediate School. The following appointments were confirmed:—Messrs D. Priest, headmaster at Bulls, and S. G. Strong, headmaster at Keith Street.
