Brutal Chicago Murder By Negro Bandits

NEW YORK. April 25.—Four bandits kicked and jumped on the body of a policeman after they had killed him in Chicago today. Th policeman Wilham Murphy, 52, had just gone off duty when he saw the bandits robbing a it ore near his homo. He fired one shot and fatally wounded one of his attackers before he fell with three bullets in his body. 'The police said the murder was one of the most brutal killings in the history o' Chicago.
