New Golf Rules In N.Z. Next May
WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA).— New Golf rules will not come into force in New Zealand until May 1 next year. The rules come into force in Britain on January 1. They have been copyrighted by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, which has given permission to the New Zealand Golf Association to reprint the rules in New Zealand. It was reported to a special meeting of the association’s council tonight that it would be impossible to obtain a reprint for some months, so it was decided to bring in the new rules on May 1. _________
