Mr. R. A. Patterson, chief architect of the Ministry of Works, has been appointed to supervise the contract of "building the new Wanganui Girls' College. Mr. H. J. Duigan. Wanganui, has been appointed the Rangitikei County Council’s representative on the Wellington District Land Valuation Committee. Mr. W. M. McLeay, of Turakina. has passed the third year examinations and has been granted certificates and diplomas of the Theological Hall of the Presbyterian Church of England. The Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) was a visitor to Wanganui yesterday. He was accompanied by Mr. K. M. Slieght, chief private secretary; Mr. R. S. Odell, head of the Information Section; Miss M. Weybourne, typist; and Mr. Grace.
