WIMBLEDON TENNIS

LONDON, June 18.—The Wimbledon favourite, Ted Schroeder, won the men’s singles final in the London grass courts tennis championship by defeating Gardnet Mulloy in straight sets. The finals resulted:— Men’s singles: Schroeder beat Mulloy 8-6, 6-0. Men’s doubles: Brown and Sidwell beat Bromwich and Sedgman 6-3, 6-8, 6-4. Womens singles: Miss Brough beat Miss Du Pont 3-6. 6-1, 6-3. Women’s doubles: Mrs. Todd and Miss Moran beat Hrs. D. Hilton and Miss J. Gannon 6-3, 9-7.
