N.Z. Chess Fixture Schedule For Wanganui Next Week
Leading players from many parts of New Zealand will take part in the New Zealand chess championship, which will begin in Wanganui on Monday, December 27, and continue for more than a week. The championships will be played at the Technical College. The following is the personnel of those taking part: Messrs R. E. Bayertz, A. B Nield, G. E. Toundle, A. L. Fletcher (all of Auckland), N. M. Cromarty (Wanganui), D. I. Lynch (Hastings), T. Lepviikman (Palmerston North), a former Dominion champion, H. McNab (Nelson). R. O. Scott A. L. Fletcher, N. S. Henderson and A. W Gyles (all of Wellington).
