Wanganui Y.M.C.A. To Conduct Cycling Tour At Christmas

A bicycle tour open to all boys over - 13 years of age is being arranged by the Wanganui Y.M.C.A. from December 27 to January 10. The tour is open lo boys from Wanganui and from out- - side districts, and is scheduled to cover Pipiriki, Main Trunk, the Chateau, Raurimu spiral, Tokaanu, Lake Taupo thermal regions, Huka Falls, the Desert Rqad, Marton, and : back to Wanganui. It is proposed to hold two church parades during the tour and iZ party . each night will camp in schools and halls All camping gear will be taken by car. The tour will be under the direction of the Rev. Stuart Wyness, chaplain to the Y.M.C.A., together with senior leaders. Parents are requested to communicate with Mr. Wyness for further particulars. A rally of those interested will be held at the Y.M.C.A. on Friday night.
