LONDON, Nov. 30 (Recd. 7.3opm>. —The political correspondent of the “Daily Express’ says that unless the King intervenes and grants them new titles seven Irish peers who at present sit in the House of Lords may be debarred from the House as a result of Eire’s decision to become an independent republic. The peers are Earl Drogheda, who is at present deputy Speaker of the House of Lords, Vfccounte Bangor, Viscount Charlemon t, Viscount de Vesci. Lord Farnham, Earl Kilmorey and Earl Roden. The seven were among th? last 28 representatives of Irish peers e.ected under the 1801 Act of Union. No more elections have been held since the Irish Free State was established in 1922. It is suggested that the seven Irish peers may be granted United Kingdom titles in the New Year's honours
