Battleship Seized For Debt

LONDON, Nov 25.—Italy's largest battleship, the 35,000-ton Vittorio Veneto, was seized by a creditor today as security for a claim for debt against the Italian navy, says the British United Press correspondent at La Soezia. If the debt is not paid within 10 days the creditor—the Italia Construction Company, of Leghorn —may legally offer the battleship for sale bv auction. The formal ceremony of seizure took place on board the battleship after the company had won its suit in Court.
