Known Dead 2860; Injured 7113

Reed. 11.50 p.m. Tokio, June 29 Fukui prefectural police announced that the known dead at noon today as the result of earthquakes yesterday numbered 2860, and the injured 7113. The houses destroyed totalled 30,450. partially destroyed 1634, and burnt out 6513. Twelve more shocks rocked the north-west coast of Japan today.
