Wanganui Women’s Bowling Club Plans For Next Season

Preliminary plans for the 1948-49 season were made when the annual meeting of the Wanganui Women's Bowling Club was held recently. Mrs. T. Dennison presided, and there was a good attendance, several new members being accepted. The report of the president and the balance-sheet disclosed that the club was in a sound financial position. A vote of thanks was passed to the men's working bee and all who gave their help on the green during the past season. Officers elected were:—President, Mrs. T. Dennison; vice-president, Mrs G. P. Hawkins; secretary, Mrs. F. Dempster; committee, Mesdames Pluck, Joyce, Brittain, Congrieve.
