MONTHLY MEDAL ROUND AT TAWHERO GOLF CLUB ON SATURDAY
Members of Tawhero Golf Club will play the third Monthly Medal round on Saturday. This competition is on the nett aggregate of the best three rounds over the series The second round of the Peters and Larsen Cups competition saw several matches go by default. Further match results were:—Larsen Cup: Mrs. Wills won from Miss Drayton, Miss Skelton won from Miss Carter. Peters Cup: H. Lee won from G. Palmer. J. McKenzie won from D. Gray J. Baxter won from R. Comp, W. H. Fowler won from M. Reynolds, J. NimmO won from S. Nimmo.
A mixed Canadian foursome, played last Saturday, resulted in a win for Miss D. Skelton and F. Christensen. The one-club match found most contenders all at sea “without the bag.” but R. Shaw (90-17-73) and W. H. Fowler <96-23-73), were good efforts. R. Shaw won on the count-back. *
