NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed at a Special Meeting of the Ohakune Borough Council held on the 10th day of June. 1948: "THAT the Ohakune Borough Council, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933 (or other enabling Act) and the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and of every other power it thereunto enabling hereby resolves by way of Special Order:— 1. That it do raise a special loan of £2250 for the purpose of erecting dwelling houses within the Borough of Ohakune. 2. That the proposed security and provision for repayment of the loan shall be a specially annu-ally-recurring rate of three pence in the £ on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Ohakune. 3. That the term of the said loan shall be for a period of 20 years. 4. That the rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan shall not exceed £3 per cent, per annum. AND it was further resolved that the above resolution be submitted for confirmation to a special meeting of the Ohakune Borough Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Miro Street, Ohakune, on Thursday, the Sth day of July, 1948, at 7.15 p.m. Dated this 16th day of June, 1948.
