New York, May 9. Winning the 24,700 dollars Dixie Handicap at Baltimore with the greatest of ease, Assault to-day became the third biggest money-winner in American Turf history. His winnings now total 498,470 dollars, or 6191 dollars less than the leading prize-winner, Whirlaway. Carrying 9.3, Assault covered the 91furlongs in 1.57 4-5.
