MEETING OF FEDERATION OF LABOUR ENDS

(P.A.) Wellington, May 10. The special meeting of the National Council of the Federation of Labour, called to consider wage policy and other industrial issues, concluded to-day. The council discussed the Wanganella dispute and later met the Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser' at Parliament Buildings to discuss the position of the 49 Naval ratings from the Bellona, whe had been classed as deserters because of failure to return from leave. The secretary of the federation (Mr, K. McL. Baxter) said after the meeting there was nothing at this stage to report.
