SCIENTIFIC FARMING IN RUSSIA
London. May 7. Russian experiments in using radioactive elements have raised the yields of rubber and sugar-beet by accelerating blossoming and ripening and increasing the carbo- hydrate content, reports Moscow radio. The experiments are already being transferred from the laboratories to the fields.
