Feb. 25 i Ten firemen lighting a lire in the | Unlvesity of Washington’s Fisheries | Department, at Seattle, were affected ; hy atomic radiation when they carried water in barrels brought from the Bikini atom bomb tests. The barels had contained fish, shell- ’ fish shells taken from Bikini Lagoon to the university for study, and were ,: still radio active Some of the men’s' hands were affected, and others had gloves burned.
