WANGANELLA IS STILL “BLACK”

(P.A.) Wellington, Feb. 23 No progress was made at the week-end towards a settlement ot the dispute between employer* and workers on the liner Wanganella. It was reported to-night that a reply to the proposed terms of settlement was still awaited from the gunployer*’ principals in Australia. Meanwhile, the men of seven unions continue to declare the ship “black” in sympathy with the claims of the Australian seamen for 17s 6d an hour danger money.
