BARWON ARRIVES AT SYDNEY
NEW ZEALAND COLT WILL HAVE NAME CHANGED Reed. 7.30 pm. Sydney, July 21 Tim crack New Zealand two-year-old colt Barwon arrived yesterday by the Kairanga after a rough trin of eight, days from New Zealand. His trainer, J. Winder, said that the colt behaved well during the voyage and did not miss a feed. Notification has been received that I Im name Lo**d Barwon will be acceptable to the Australian racing authorities. The horse’s present name is considered unsuitable because of its similarity to the bookmakers’ calling of “Bar one!’’ The New Zealander is being ciuoted
