WANGAM I RH Hit MEETINGS. The scries ol National Parly meeting being cond'K ted along the anganui River was continued on Saturday at Ranana, Matnhiwi, and Koroniti. There was a largo attendance ol both Maoris and pakehas at all the meetings. Mr. Te Tapa presided al Ranana, Mr. W. Pestle at Malahiwi, and Mr. Rangi Pokiha at Koromti.
Local committees of the party were formed al Ranana and Karoniti, out the Matahiwj meeting combined with lhe Ranana branch. At all tae meetings confidence was v xpress?d in the candidatures of Mr. 11. Maramaru L*r Western Maori and Mr. E. B. Gordon. M.P. for Raiigiiikei. Mr. P. L. Wickham, president of th? Makirikiii branch of the National Party, spoke at Ranana and Matahivvi, and Mr. Tanginoa Tapa at Koroniti. The Ranana and t<> in..i committees decided Io co-op. Mile with th-?
