FIVE RACE MEETINGS TO-DAY
Penultimate race meetings of the 1945-46 season will be staged to-day at four centres in the North Island and one in the South, l-'or Wanganui enthusiasts the, Manawatu Hunt Club meeting at Awapuni. ami the combined fixture at Stratford by the Egmont and Stratford Racing Clubs will hold interest. In the Auckland province there is a clash with the Avondale meeting at Ellerslie and the Matamata fixture. hut both have drawn good fields. The South Canterbury .Jockey Club will race at Washdyke. ■
