CHAMPIONSHIP BRASS BANDS' CONTEST AT WANGANUI. | HAVE pleasure in inviting the citizens to be present at a Public Meeting to be held in the City Council Chambers on Thursday next, 25th inst., at 7.30 p.m., when an Executive Committee will he appointed and arrangements discussed in connection with the N.Z. Brass Bands' Championship Contest to eventuate in the City in February, 1947 I am sure that this project commends itself strongly to the citizens, and I trust that their support and cooperation will be generously forthcoming, thus ensuring success even j more outstanding than on the occasion of the 1929 Contest held in this centre.I \ W.
