T2UBLIC notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Wanganui County Council, at its meeting to be held in the County Chambers, No. 7 Campbell Place, Wanganui, on Friday, the 9th. day of August, 1946, at 10.30 a.m. to make and levy the following rates:—• 1. A Uniform General Rate under the provisions of the “Rating Act, 1925,” Section 120 of “The Counties Act, 1920” and Section 2of the “Counties Amendment Act, 1931” of One penny and three farthings (li'd) in the pound upon the rateable (being the Capital value) ot all rateable property in the County of Wanganui. 2. A Hospital Rate under the provivisions of the “Rating Act, 1925” and “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926” of elevensixteenths of one penny (11/16d» in the pound upon the rateable (being the Capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Wanganui. MANGAMAHU HALL RATE. 3. A Separate rate under the provisions of the "Rating Act 1925” and Section 122 of the “Counties Act 1920" of One farthing Ud) in the pound on the rateable (being the Capital value) of all the rateable property included in the Mangamahu Hall Separate Rating District. , WANGANUI HARBOUR BOARD RATE. 4. At the direction of the Wanganui Harbour Board to make and levyfl Harbour Board Rate of Threeeighths (gdt of one penny in the pound upon the Capital value of all the rateable property in lhe area as set out and described in "The Wanganui' Harbour District and Empowering Act, 1913" that lies within the County of Wanganui. RANGITIKEI CATCHMENT BOARD RATE. 5. An Administrative rate directed to be made and levied by the Rangitikei Catchment Board pursuant to the powers vested in it by Sections 84 and 95 of "The Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941" of One-sixteenth (l/16d) ot one penny in the pound on the Capital value of all rateable property in that portion of lhe County of Wanganui contained within the Rangitikei Catchment District. Such General Hospital.
