Sullivan. Special cards will bo available from next week onwards at all rationing offices. Mr. Sullivan said it gave him pleasure to make this announcement. He had been distressed during the war at the necessity of restricting the supply to elderly people, and the time iiad now come when it was possible to relax a little in their favour. Mr. Sullivan said he wished a general relaxation was possible, but the world supply position would take some time to recover, and meanwhile we had no alternative to restricting our total consumption to the quota allowed us out. of the general pool.
