Reed. 10 p.m. Canberra, July 16 The dismissal of trouble makers from the coal mines was discussed by the Federal Cabinet to-day. The proposal is being made by the Supply Minister, Senator Ashley. The plan was liseussed all morning, and the mat her was then adjourned until to-morrow without any decision being announced. Senator Ashley recommends that trouble makers should be irosecuted by competent tribunals, and the punishment to be suspension, or lifetime dismissal from industry. Power to enforce a code of. discipline would be sought under the National Security Act.
