FARMERS’ PARLIAMENT
INTERPROVINCIAL CONFERENCE WANGANUI DELEGATION Remits covering a xvide range of subjects xvill be discussed at. the annual interprovincial conference of the Nex\' Zealand Farmers’ Union, to be held in Palmerston North to-day. Wanganui, Hutt-Makara, Wellington Central, and Wairarapa districts xvill be represented. The Wanganui provincial delegates to the conference are Messrs T. Currie (president), C. Smith (treasurer). R. O. Montgomerie, and A. R. Donaldson (secretary). Branch delegates are Messrs. F. G. Frederick (Makirikiri), H. J. Donnelly (Raetihi), C. J. Masters (WestmereL D. McGregor (Okoia), A. P. Melville (Fordell), A. J. Larsen and C. McGregor (Waverley). K. Humphrey (Wangachu), and J. Currie (Brunswick). There are 55 remits to bp discussed. Under the heading of union matters, there are nine remits. Produce and marketing have provided 21. rehabilitation t.xvo. legislation affecting farmers 11, dairy farming two. The rest, are made up of sh°ep and xvool topics, transport and miscellaneous items. In ppacetimo the conference business occupied ixvo days, but because of Iho xvar it is now confined to one, day.
