206,227 TO MAY 6 Recd. 6 p.m. Washington, May 25 The War Department has announced that American casualties, to May 6,1! f totalled 206,227. of which 161.113 are Armv and 45.1141 Navy. The figures to April 30, included: South-west Pacific: 2536 killed. 4625 wounded, 1756 missing, and 1022 prisoners of war. South Pacific: 2292 killed, 6917 wounded, 555 missing, seven taken prisoners of war. Central Pacific: 834 killed, 1864 wounded, 243 missing, 10 taken prisoners of war.
