BOARDING BURSARIES
AWARDED TO TWO STUDENTS "I FROM WANGANUI Advice has been received in Wan--1 ganui that Messrs. H. C. Smith and J. '• W. Wilson, of the Canterbury Unle versify College, have been awarded boarding bursaries applicable to any University College in New Zealand. These bursaries are given to students selected, in order of merit, on . the results of the university entrance scholarship examination. Last year, Messrs. Smith and Wilson were in the 6th Form at the Wanganui Technical College, where they studied only the sciences and mathematics for their scholarship examination. Both are at the Canterbury ! b University College, where thev are ' studying for the B.Sc. and B.E. degree’. Mr. Smith is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C A Sm'th Kent Road. St. John’s Hill, and Mr. Wilson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Wilson, College House, Purnell Street, Wanganui.
