MARTON “KEEPER OF THE FLAME” Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn figure in a drama of newspaperdom for the second time in “Keeper of the Flame,” Metro-Goldwyn-May-er’s graphic adaptation of I. A. R. Wvlie’s best-selling novel. Unlike “Woman of the Year,” which was comedy, however, the new picture is an intensely dramatic one dealing with America under to-day's wartime conditions. Tracy, as a newspaperman, investigating the death of a noted American leader, falls in love with his widow, played by Katharine Hepburn, and a dramatic situation eventuates when his investigations turn the finger of suspicion on her. PATRIOTIC DANCE AT RATA A dance in aid of patriotic funds will be held in Taiuru’s Meeting House, at Rata, to-Aight. The dance is organised by the* young folk of Rata, and their dances in the past have proved very popular and successful.
