PATEA Mr. and Mrs. Brisco New Plymouth, are the guests of their daughter, Mrs. Kehely, Essex Street. Mrs. S. Cathro has returned from a visit to Auckland and Stratford. Mrs. A. Carey is in Wellragton attending a Women’s Tnstittue Dominion Council meeting. Miss N. Bourke, who has been the guest of her mother, returns to Wellington to-day. Mis Hilda Thompson, who has been on the nursing staff at the Patea Hospital, leaves to-day for the South Island, where she will spend a short vacation at her home town before taking up her duties at Rotorua. Mrs. P. Bourke, senr., has been a Patea visitor to Wanganui. MARTON Mr. K. Corbett, of the Grand Opera House, Wellington, is at present relieving Mr. G. Hogan as manager of the Civic Theatre at Marton. Dr. T. Gerald Harpur is on vacation at his home in Marton from Burnham, with Mrs. Harpur, who now intends to reside in Marton. Mr. A. V. Vile, Marton, has been appointed judge of purebred Southdowns at the Rangitikei A. and P. Association’s show at Taihape on February 24.
