AUSTRALIAN INCOMES
Recd. 6 p.m. Canberra, Feb. 11. Only one person in Australia had a taxable income of more than £50,000 in 1940-1941, according to the Taxation Commissioner's report. Nine Italians had a taxable income of between £IU,OOO and £50,000. People with a taxable income of more than £4OO totalled 55,849, compared with 583,874 under £4OO, stated the report.
