PUKEKOHE PRODUCE PRICES

Pukekohc, Sept. 28. The price of new potatoes on rail, Pukekohe, is £2 5s 9d a cwt. Cauliflowers continue to rise in price, the value to-day being 19/- a Chapman bag compared with 18s a week ago. Drumhead and savoy cabbages are quoted at 15s a Chapman bag, which is a rise of h on last Monday's price. Spring cabbages are also up Is. Carrots and parsnips are still at 21s a cwt., which is the ceiling price, while swedes have again fallen in value, the price now

being 10s a cwt., which compares with Ils last week and the maximum of 12s a fortnight ago. Cabbage plants remain at 14s a thousand on rail, Pukekohe. Onion plants are being sent away at 9s a thousand, which is a drop of 6d since last Monday, and tomato plants are at 5s 6d a tray of 50.
