JAPS WARNED TO PREPARE FOR BOMBINGS London, Sept. 28. Japan has had another warning of what she might expect from Allied air raids. Tokio radio said: “We must be well prepared for the time when United States bombers will fly overhead repeatedly. Every resource of Japan must be mobilised to the utmost.”

The American plane manufacturer, Mr. Glenn Martin, has been talking about the sort of air armada that might blitz Japan. He said that merely one squadron of 70-ton Mars flying-boats could wreck Tok'o in a single trip.
