ALLEGATIONS OF THEFT

WATTS CASE ADJOURNED (P.A.) Wellington. Sept. 24. : Except for one witness, the hearing of evidence against Raymond John , Wat s, charged with thefts totalling ; £16.220 19s 3d from Wool worths i (N.Z.). Ltd., was concluded to-day. The case was adjourned till Wednesday, when evidence will be heard on four minor charges, the witness for which is ill. Mr. W. H. Cunningham. Crown' Prosecutor, said there might be one or two other charges coming forward in which the same witness was concerned.
