OPERA HOUSE

Ranking among the star’s finest light comedy efforts, Ronald Colman's new vehicle for RKO Radio, “My Life With Caroline.” screens to-dav at the the Opera House. The British star, Anna Lee makes her bow to American filmgoers as the vacillating wife. Colman turns in a splendid performance in what is easily his best role in years, and the pair are given ideal support by a notable cast. Also on the programme is a newsreel all New Zealanders should not miss seeing, “America Strikes at the Heart of Japan." The Japanese pictures included in this review were made by the Japanese for propaganda in the Far East and are to-day being used by us in conjunction with pictures of U.S. Navy and Air Force.
