Railway Superannuation.
Expenditure on account of life allowances paid to members of the Government Railways Superannuation Fund amounted to £483.676 during the past year, an increase of £23,680 over the previous year, says the annual report of the board, which has been laid before Parliament. Allowances granted during the year totalled 242, the average being £2OO 15s 101. Allowances discontinued numbered 110. the average amount being £l7O 12s lid.
