MARTON SPRING MEETING

TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS Special train facilities have been afforded by the Railway Department for patrons to the Marton Jockey Club’s spring meeting to-morrow. A special train will leave Wanganui at 9.35, Aramoho 9.46, Fordell 10.23, Turakina 11.0, arriving at Marton at 11.30. Trains leave Taihape at 8.35 and 10 10 a.m., arriving at Marton at 10.58 and 12.35. A special train leaves Palmerston North at 10.8 a.m., arriving at Marton at 11.26 a.m. Cheap excursion tickets Io Marton, available for return up to and including Monday, September 22, will be issued from Palmerston North. Wanganui, Taihape and intermediate stations by the above trains, and ordinary trains, but not by the Main Trunk express trains or rail-cars. The first race starts at 12 noon.
