AEROPLANE CRASHES

TWO OCCUPANTS SLIGHTLY INJURED (Press Assn.) Auckland, July 20. During a trailing exercise from the Whenuapai air base an aeroplane crashed on the beach at Piha on Saturday afternoon. The occupants, Pilot-Officer J. D. Bew and LeadingAircraftman D. Gale, received very slight injuries. The aeroplane was damaged fairly extensively.
